LOCTITE® 248 threadlocker is an effective solution for securing and sealing threaded assemblies. Supplied as a semi-solid stick, it ensures easy and clean application, making it ideal for overhead use or on vertical surfaces. This blue threadlocker provides medium strength, allowing easy disassembly using standard hand tools. It seals and helps prevent fasteners from loosening due to vibration, making it particularly suitable for fasteners on pumps, gearbox housings or presses. It works on all metals, including passive substrates such as stainless steel, aluminium and coated surfaces, without requiring an activator. In addition, it can be applied directly to lightly oiled fasteners without prior cleaning.
